At Inkspire Legacy Writers, we are committed to creating safe, imaginative, and empowering spaces where children can explore and sharpen their creative writing talents. Our core programs are designed to be accessible, inclusive, and impactful, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, can discover the power of their voice through storytelling.
Creative Sparks Bootcamp
The Creative Sparks Bootcamp is an intensive writing workshop tailored for children aged 10 to 18 held during school breaks or weekends. This program uses interactive activities, group storytelling, and writing prompts to unlock creativity and foster a love for writing. Participants learn the fundamentals of story structure, character development, poetry, and journal writing. Beyond honing their writing skills, the bootcamp helps build self-confidence, improves literacy, and nurtures emotional expression in a fun and supportive environment.
Kids Writing Roadshow
The Kids Writing Roadshow is a mobile outreach initiative that brings the magic of creative writing directly to schools and underserved communities across Ghana. With a team of facilitators, writers, and mentors, the roadshow offers mini-workshops, storytelling games, reading sessions, and one-on-one mentorship. By making creative writing accessible to children in rural and urban areas alike, the program helps to bridge educational gaps and ensures that young talents do not go unnoticed due to location or circumstance.
Pages for Progress
Pages for Progress is our flagship fundraising initiative that showcases the work of young writers. Through curated anthologies, poetry collections, and storybooks written by children in our programs, we not only give them a platform to be published authors but also raise funds to support and expand our activities. Each book sold helps sustain our mission while giving participating children a tangible sense of achievement and purpose. Proceeds also go toward providing writing materials, books, and scholarships for children from low-income families.
